Did you know that our God created all the animal kinds on day five and six of the creation week? On day five, of the creation week, God created all the fish of the sea and birds of the air. On day six He created all of the land dwelling animals. When we look at various animals we are seeing the creative hand of the Lord on display. Our response to God’s creation should be, “Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.”  Revelation 4:11  In the Bible we find many of the created animals mentioned by name. That is exactly what we should expect to find since God charged the first man, Adam, with naming all of the animals. As we study the Amazing Animals of the Bible we will learn about tiny creatures like ants and massive beasts, we call dinosaurs, that walked with man. We will also learn about great fish living in the depth of the sea and the majestic eagle soaring high into the sky.  All of these amazing animals are declaring the glory of our amazing God.

It should not surprise us to find battles mentioned in the Bible. Ever since the fall of man in the Garden of Eden, mankind has been warring against the Creator God. Man who wars against God will eventually war with one another. To make matters even worse, the Devil, who is the enemy of God, roams the earth seeking to cause chaos, and preventing reconciliation with the Creator through our Savior Jesus Christ.  The preacher said in Ecclesiastes 3:8 that there will be “A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.” Jesus taught us that there will be “wars and rumors of war” right up to the very end. With all the fighting in our war torn world it is good to know that, through Jesus Christ we do not have to be the enemy of God anymore. Colossians 1:21 says, “And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled.” Despite the battles and wars throughout history, God is still in control and will one day make right all the wrong.
